Exciting programme of Faure, Handel, and our conductor Iain Cooper's new work written for the Society, Benedicite. This will be the first performance of this piece for choir, brass quintet, piano duet and timpani. Full professional orchestra, leader Brigid Kirkland-Wilson. The Phoenix Singers - Music Director Andrew Maddocks with soprano soloist Alice Privett will present a concert with baroque instrumentalists at St Peter and St Paul Church, South Petherton. The programme will feature choruses and arias from 'Messiah', 'Laudate Pueri Dominum' and other great works by Handel.
