Piano Recital – Marie Pascale Talbot Hitier

Marie-Pascale first studied at the Conservatoire of Caen and then at the Conservatoire National Supérieur of Music and Dance in Paris under Yvonne Loriod-Messiaen and Jean Hubeau, before completing her studies at the Conservatoire Royal in Brussels and training as a teacher at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris. She was an award winner in the European Community music competition in 1989. Her professional career is divided between teaching piano and chamber music, and being a concert pianist as soloist, chamber musician, accompanist and vocal coach. In more recent years, her concerts have included Twenty Contemplations on the Infant Jesus by Messiaen, Mozart concertos, Brahms quintets, works by Schumann, Dvorak, Vierne and Schubert’s Winterreise for voice and piano.
The afternoon will finish with the serving of Tea and Cakes.
