St Johns Taunton – Lunchtime Concert: TAUNTON YOUNG SINGERS

Taunton Festival of the Arts organised three competitions for young singers during this year. Those events produced a very high standard and displayed a wide range of repertoire. The prize winners will perform at St. John’s to share some of their competition songs with the audience. They include the first place winners Ava Fitzhugh, from Crediton, (Taunton Young Singer), Spike Maxwell, from Milverton, (Taunton Young Music Theatre Singer) and Esme Knight, from Taunton, (Taunton Junior Young Singer). There were also four days of vocal music making in February demonstrating that Taunton Festival is
hriving. Do come and hear for yourself the standard these young people have achieved. The performance will start at 12.45pm and last for approximately 45 minutes. Please feel welcome to bring your sandwiches to enjoy with the cold drinks that will be available.
