Collegium Singers Summer Concert – She who creates, She who inspires
A concert placing women at the heart of choral expression as composers, as symbolic figures, and as voices through which beauty, light and devotion are explored. From Renaissance madrigals to modern contemplative works, the programme traces an arc of intimacy, awe and radiance. Alongside music by women composers – including rarely performed gems – stand pieces by male composers whose texts turn towards feminine figures, the beloved Virgin Mary, and symbolic presences of light, dawn and momory.
