Musical Meditations for Lent

The Wilbye Quartet have waited a long time to have the opportunity to present their programme designed to prepare us for Lent. Their programme is to include Chorales from Bach St Matthew Passion and works by Victoria, Byrd, Morley, Tchaikovsky and Bruckner.
The four voices formed into The Wilbye Quartet during Covid restrictions when larger numbers were unable to meet. They enjoyed themselves so much that they have continued to rehearse and enjoy performing music both sacred and secular in the South West.

All are welcome to attend this concert. Entry will be free but there will be a retiring collection for people to show their appreciation.
Tea and Cakes will be served after the performance.
