Taunton Sinfonietta – Young Musician’s Platform

2018 TYM winner double bassist Alexander Heather will perform a concerto by the acclaimed 19th century double bass player and composer Bottesini, and director Mary Eade will play a Bach concerto. Two unfamiliar works are in the programme; a new work by violinist and composer Sarah Wormell, and the Miniature Suite for piano and strings by Cyril Rootham, Keith Jones will play the solo part and the concert will be attended by members of Cyril Rootham’s family.
