Taunton Sinfonietta – The Trumpet Shall Sound

Concert directed by Mary Eade, who will play the beautiful ‘Lark Ascending’ by Vaughan Williams. The orchestra is very pleased to welcome trumpeter David Shead, who will play baroque concerti by Neruda and Baldassari. We open with the seasonal favourite, the ‘Christmas Concerto’ by Corelli, and close with the French Folk Song Suite by Gordon Langford.
