This month we continue with our presentation of the concerti grossi of Albinoni and Handel. Not on the earlier publicity, we will include the best-known of Bach’s Brandenburg concertos, number 3 in G. Cellist Chris Sampson will be soloist in a set of variations for cello and strings by Respighi, doubtless new to many of us, and the Simple Symphony by Britten completes the programme.
