Taunton Choral Society – Songs of Praise

A programme of moving devotional music including Vaughan Williams Five Mystical Songs, Michael Tippett’s Five Negro Spirituals as well as works by Brahms and Fauré. Our regular partners Taunton Sinfonietta perform music by both Tippett and Vaughan Williams. The latter’s ‘The Lark Ascending’ has Mary Eade as the soloist.
