Finals Weekend 2026

The Somerset Song Prize 2026 Finals Weekend takes place on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th May at Temple Methodist Church, Taunton. Tickets are available now: Semi-final £5, Final £15, under 18s FREE.

Prize money includes:

• £1250 for the Singer Prize
• £1250 for the Pianist Prize
• £500 awarded to the audience’s favourite duo, plus a recital, associated residency at Wellhayes Vineyard and a further £500

Our adjudicating panel for the final brings world-class expertise in song, including internationally renowned tenor John Mark Ainsley, Gramophone Award-winning pianist and master collaborator Julius Drake, and acclaimed mezzo-soprano and recital artist Marta Fontanals-Simmons, each celebrated for their distinguished global careers on the world’s leading stages.
