by Brahms, Elgar & Richard Strauss
1. Brahms: Zigeunerlieder (folksongs) (a selection from the 11 songs) with piano, plus one or two additional Brahms partsongs (perhaps including one for female voices) unaccompanied
2. Strauss: Traumlicht (for male voices) and/or Der Abend unaccompanied

3. Elgar: A selection of partsongs e.g. perhaps My love dwelt in a Northern Land, plus one other – unaccompanied
4. Elgar Scenes from the Bavarian Highlands – with piano
