Wellington Choral Society – Ralph Vaughan Williams’ ‘A Sea Symphony’

In a combined choir of over 200 voices, Wellington Choral Society, together with Exmouth and Exeter Choral Societies, will be performing Ralph Vaughan Williams’ A Sea Symphony, under the baton of their shared Music Director, Laurence Blyth. They will be accompanied by the Exeter Symphony Orchestra and the concert will take place in the magnificent surroundings of Exeter Cathedral.
Among those attending the concert will be the Mayor of Wellington and the Mayor of Taunton Deane, the Lord Mayor of Exeter and the Mayor of Exmouth. The concert is sponsored by The Vaughan Williams Charitable Trust, and there will be a retiring collection in aid of the RNLI.
