The Chapel Choir of Wellington School will sing Evensong with a theme for Epiphany. All are welcome to join the congregational for what will be a spiritually uplifting and a feast of choral music. Tea and Cakes will also be served.

The Taunton’s Annual Commemoration for Holocaust Memorial Day will again take place at St John’s Church. This year’s theme is “Ordinary People”. Trumpet Concertos by Handel and Torelli, soloist Sasha Canter, BBC finalist, and music by Albinoni, Nielsen, Webern, Dvorak, Sousa and Einaudi. Director Mary Eade, violin.

Ronald Tickner was Organist and Choirmaster of St Mary Magdalene for 36 years (1963-99) and the trust founded in his memory in 2000 aims to support young musicians with lessons and experiences which will help them to make the most of their talents now and in the future.
