SUMMARY:St Johns Taunton - Lunchtime Concert:  ‘Things Bright and Beautiful’
DESCRIPTION:Adam Parris of Derbyshire is a versatile\, talented young musician will make his debut in\nTaunton\, by using the Father Willis organ as well as playing some\npiano solos. He could just as easily use his guitar in a programme\nof pop music. He is a professional pianist\, organist\, director of music and\ncomposer\, who regularly tours the UK and abroad. \nWhilst he is classically trained\, his musical tastes and influences have led him to\nwork with a broad range of notable musicians and composers. These\ninclude John Rutter\, Bob Chilcot\, the renowned acoustic guitarist\nGordon Giltrap\, Nicki French (a past Eurovision Song contestant) and\neven Basil Brush! To read more look up www.adamparrishmusician.org \nHis programme will range from a Beethoven Sonata and the Elgar ‘Nimrod\nVariation’ to ‘Jane Seymour’\, part of the Album\, from The Six Wives of\nHenry VIII by Rick Wakeman. Adam will also be including some of his\nown compositions and arrangements. \nAn extra treat will come at the end of the performance when great friend of Adam\, Teresa De Roberto will be making a guest appearance. \nThe performance will start at 12.45pm and last for approximately 45 minutes. Please feel welcome to bring your sandwiches and enjoy with the cold drinks that will be available. \nRetiring Collection in aid of the Music Therapy charity and St John’s Church.
