TAOS Musical Theatre is bringing the Circus to Town! \nTAOS Musical Theatre’s Spring production is ‘Barnum’ the Circus Musical\, and TAOS are delighted to be bringing this exciting show to the Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre.  Expect a magnificent feast of colour\, action and song from Taunton’s most established\, multi-award winning musical theatre society\, as we truly believe:  “No one ever made a difference by being like everyone else” P.T. Barnum. \n‘Barnum’ the musical was created by Mark Bramble\, with lyrics by Michael Stewart\, and music by Cy Coleman. It is based on the life of showman P. T. Barnum and combines musical theatre with the colourful and mesmerising spectacle of the circus.  Stand out songs include ‘There’s a Sucker Born Ev’ry Minute’\, ‘The Colours of My Life’ and ‘One Brick at a Time’.  During it’s Broadway run\, starring Jim Dale and Glen Close\, ‘Barnum’ won 3 coveted Tony Awards\, and whilst in the West End the musical drew wide acclaim\, with star Michael Crawford receiving the Laurence Olivier Award for ‘Best Actor in a Musical’. \nThe production runs from 21st to 26th April\, with evening performances at 7.30pm on the Tuesday to the Saturday\, with additional matinee performances on the Saturday and Sunday.  The final performance will be a twilight show at 5.30pm on the Sunday. \nTickets are now on sale\, and are already proving very popular.  Visit www.tacchi-morris.com or call the box office on 01823 414141 to secure your tickets before they disappear in a puff of smoke!  Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Visit Taunton Information Centre at Market House. \nWe urge you to buy your tickets now for\, in the words of P.T.
