DESCRIPTION:Due to the recent Government announcement with regard to Corona Virus this event has been cancelled. \nBy popular request we are pleased to announce that the Avon and Somerset Constabulary Male Voice Choir will be returning to St George’s Church\, Taunton\, to perform from their wonderful repertoire of music and to raise money for charity. The Avon and Somerset Constabulary Male Voice Choir enjoys a high reputation for its quality of performance for which it has been awarded numerous cups and certificates at choral competitions. Their aims are to share their music with the community\, raise funds for local organisations and to act as ambassadors for the force. \nUnder the professional leadership and tuition of their musical director Marysia Gorska-Saj and accompanist Alison Howell\, the choir has developed an extensive repertoire\, from classical male choral music\, operatic choruses and songs of stage and film musicals to arrangements of popular songs. Their concerts are designed to entertain and contain music to suit all tastes.
