The Chaplaincy is a part of the Church of England in the Diocese in Europe and has had a choral tradition that continues to this day\, with choristers being trained under the Royal College of Church Music system.\nThere are three churches in the Chaplaincy\, Utrecht\, Zwolle and Groningen\, with two having choirs that sing in the Anglican tradition. We sing at all services and festivals such as Nine Lessons and Carols and in other churches in Utrecht and The Netherlands as ambassadors outside the church.\nFor some summer months\, they travel to England and this year\, a group of 16 singers will come to St John’s to sing Choral Evensong on Friday 25th July at 5.30pm. This is a part of a tour that includes Wells Cathedral and Sherborne Abbey.\nThe Evensong will be a traditional Choral Anglican service\, based on the Book of Common Prayer.
