Not on the earlier publicity\, we will include the best-known of Bach’s Brandenburg concertos\, number 3 in G. Cellist Chris Sampson will be soloist in a set of variations for cello and strings by Respighi\, doubtless new to many of us\, and the Simple Symphony by Britten completes the programme.
