TAOS proudly present Stephen Sondheim’s brilliant musical comedy COMPANY
Company is the funny, thought provoking and at times, moving journey through one year in confirmed bachelor, Robert’s life as he grapples with the concept of marriage and commitment.
Bobby’s views on the pluses and minuses of fidelity and monogamy are constantly challenged as his married friends play out the perfect imperfections of their relationships in front of him and with him. His three girlfriends add further complications to the mix, each representing the extreme corners of his wants and needs.
This is an absorbing and beautifully constructed piece of theatre with a sharp and clever libretto by George Furth and a sublime score and lyrics by the genius that is Stephen Sondheim.
