Live performances at Lunchtime will hopefully be resuming in June and are planned to continue until November with a performance on the second Friday of each month. It is also hoped that most concerts will be recorded, so those who are unable to attend in person will be able to watch later on You Tube.
This month’s concert will be given by husband and wife duo, Ed and Sally Jenkins. They will be performing an eclectic mix of much loved and rediscovered music for harp, piano and organ. Featuring both solo and duet items, the concert will feature works by Saint-Saens, Dussek, Wesley and Dubois.
Doors will open at 12.00pm and the concert will start at 12.45pm. In accordance with Covid regulations, it will necessary to book your seat by calling 01823 335543 and leaving name and contact number. It is regretted that it will not be possible to serve the usual cold drinks, but people are welcome to bring their own refreshments.
There will be a retiring collection in aid of Unicef, the United Nations agency responsible for providing humanitarian and developmental aid to children worldwide and St John’s Church for the maintenance of the Church.
