St John’s Taunton – Lunchtime Concerts: Pipes and Reeds

Live performances at Lunchtime will hopefully be resuming in June and are planned to continue until November with a performance on the second Friday of each month. It is also hoped that most concerts will be recorded, so those who are unable to attend in person will be able to watch later on You Tube.
Kevin Hurst and Jonathan Delbridge join forces to provide a concert of music for clarinet and organ, celebrating music from the baroque and classical periods. Programme to include Ave Maria by Bach/Gounod, Air from Suite in D by J S Bach and a Church Sonata by Mozart.
Doors will open at 12.00pm and the concert will start at 12.45pm. In accordance with Covid regulations, it will necessary to book your seat by calling 01823 335543 and leaving name and contact number. It is regretted that it will not be possible to serve the usual cold drinks, but people are welcome to bring their own refreshments.
There will be a retiring collection in aid of Somerset Community Foundation, and St John’s Church for the maintenance of the Church
