‘The Muses Gardin for Delights’ Mary Morgan (soprano) and Steve Graham (lute)

‘The Muses Gardin for Delights’ was the title of Robert Jones’ 5th
book of ayres for voice and lute, published in 1610.  There were
several such publications in this “Golden Age of English Music”, the
pre-eminent composer being the lutenist John Dowland. Our programme
will draw from this rich source of musical delights.

Mary particularly enjoys singing solo parts with local choirs and
Steve can often be seen playing with other folk musicians.
Retiring Collection in aid of St Margaret’s Hospice and St John’s Church.
Doors open at 12 Noon and cold drinks will be served before the start
of the concert.
