Taunton Festival of the Arts – Gala Evening

Taunton Festival of the Arts will bring the Music, Drama and Dance sections together for a spectacular evening of entertainment.

Wellington Choral Society – ‘Summer Sing Choral Workshops’

If you like singing and are thinking of trying something new, why not join us on one or both Wednesdays, 6th and 13th June, as we explore a French theme in two Summer workshops, conducted by Laurence Blyth. The main work we’ll be looking at will be Duruflé’s Requiem, in preparation for our November concert, REMEMBRANCE – 100 YEARS. (Click on the link below for more about the concert programme.) St John the Evangelist, Park Street, Taunton – Lunchtime Concert

Richard Huish College –  Advanced Musicians’ Summer Recital Talented soloists on a variety of instruments will perform a programme of pieces ranging from classical to jazz. Accompanied by Course Manager for Music, Kathryn Foyle, there will be something to suit all tastes during the summer lunchtime. The Avon and Somerset Constabulary Male Voice Choir enjoys a high reputation for its quality of performance for which it has been awarded numerous cups and certificates at choral competitions. Taunton Choral Society – Brahms Requiem/Elgar
